It's a shame that the second half of this season lets it down and the story arc is almost intolerable in spots, because there are several excellent episodes here. Extending far backward from front to rear: a deep walk-in refrigerator. With deep grooves fixed firmly in Techno, each track stays dark and twisted from the grave synths and worn out male vocals in Novox, to the rumbling bass and speech in Your Essence. Extending far inward from an outer surface: a deep cut. The rich bass, mellow vocals and eerie percussion introduced in An Angel builds suspense thats consistent throughout the EP. Extending far downward below a surface: a deep hole in the river ice. It’s all fun and games until Fred almost loses her head, although no one’s cases go according to plan. I love 'Carpe Noctem' as a fun throwaway episode, 'Sleep Tight' as the only standout episode of the season's story arc, and 'Waiting in the Wing' as a fantastic, dramatic standalone episode in the vein of 'Are You or Have You Ever Been' and almost a reprise of 'I Only Have Eyes for You' from the second season of Angel's parent show Buffy. Season Three is easily my least favorite Angel season. SS is dedicated to The Simpsons and host to thousands of free TV show episode scripts and movie scripts. DEEP DOWN The Good Wonderful to see Fred and Gunn as Connor's surrogate parents during the summer, would love to see that in the comics sometime. Angel is an American television series, a spin-off from the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer which aired on The WB. Besides, they really look like something out of Xena or the Hercules show from the 90's, except without the tongue-in-cheek sensibility. A bunch of episodes that have some really nice bits in them but which are mostly just boring. I DON'T CARE! 'Forgiving' onwards is some of the most frustrating television I've ever seen, because it's not really bad, just annoyingly incapable of living up to its actual potential.
